Important Changes to SwimSafer Assessments Starting 13 July 2024

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our services and streamlining our processes, we would like to announce several important changes to our SwimSafer assessments effective from 13 July 2024. Please take note of the following updates to ensure a smooth experience:


  1. Starting from 13 July 2024, the link for the online quiz required as part of the SwimSafer assessment will be updated. Participants who have their assessment from 13 July 2024 onwards should ensure they use the new link provided to access the quiz. Make sure to check your assessment instructions for the new link to avoid any inconvenience. You can access the quiz using the new link: SwimSafer Online Quiz.

  2. In government's efforts to go green and improve efficiency, we will no longer be printing physical certificates by default. Instead, e-certificates will be sent directly to clients under their accounts on file.gov.sg. This secure and user-friendly platform is designed to provide Singaporeans with a convenient way to manage their official documents and certificates. What is file.gov.sg? File.gov.sg is a centralized online platform managed by the Singapore government, allowing users to store, access, and share official documents securely. It offers a range of features including: By using file.gov.sg, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and provide you with a more convenient and secure way to manage your SwimSafer certificates. If you still wish to have the certificate printed, you can send it to us for printing at Certificate Printing Request

  • Secure Storage: Your documents are stored in a highly secure environment, ensuring your personal information remains protected.

  • Easy Access: Access your certificates anytime, anywhere with just a few clicks.

  • Document Sharing: Share your e-certificates with schools, employers, and other organizations easily.

  1. Please note that there has been a slight adjustment in the assessment fee. While we strive to keep our services affordable, this change is necessary to continue providing high-quality assessments and maintain our standards. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these improvements.
