SwimSafer Assessments Now Centralised – First Session on 18 May 2025

The Assessment Centre (TAC) is pleased to announce a new direction for SwimSafer assessments, beginning May 2025. Working closely with Sport Singapore (SportSG), TAC will be transitioning from multiple weekly sessions to a centralised, monthly assessment model. This shift is part of our continued commitment to enhance quality control, improve coordination, and streamline the overall assessment experience—based on the latest guidance from SportSG.
Our first mass SwimSafer assessment under this new model will take place on Sunday, 18 May 2025, at Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Here’s what this new approach means:
Monthly assessments – Held once a month, enabling us to focus on delivering a higher standard of safety, supervision, and efficiency.
Islandwide accessibility – Locations will rotate monthly across various public pools, offering convenience while maintaining consistency and structure.
Aligned with national standards – This direction is supported by SportSG and aligns with national efforts to ensure a safer and more standardised SwimSafer assessment process across Singapore.
Whether you're a parent preparing your child for certification or a coach guiding your students, this updated format brings greater clarity, consistency, and professionalism to the SwimSafer journey.
